Please see the attached about the Holiday Card Contest being run by the town of Burrillville.  The cards are due by 10-17.

Please see the attached from the Burrillville Middle School’s student council who is attempting a service learning project to benefit our school’s libraries.

Our annual Red Ribbon Week  will be celebrated on October 22-October 26.  This is the list of spirit days that week:

  • Monday-Wild about being drug free (crazy hair day)

  • Tuesday-Say Boo to drugs (wear orange and black)

  • Wednesday- Lei off Drugs (Hawaiian day)

  • Thursday- Follow your dreams...don't do drugs (pajama day)

  • Friday-We are "red"dy to say no to drugs (wear red day)


GEMS-Net will be participating in an open house for URI's Graduate School of Oceanography on Saturday, October 13. We will be engaging families in some core activities from your K-8 science program. A wide variety of free, family-friendly activities will be available.Please see the attached for more information:

School Pictures will be taken this year on November 1, 2018.  There will be more information as the date approaches. The Make -up day is scheduled on November 20, 2018.  Please plan ahead!

Callahan Trunk or Treat will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2018  at the Callahan School.  This is a free event but you need to be signed up by Tuesday, October 23, 2018. NO LATE SIGN UPS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND ALL STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Negative Lunch Balance-The negative balance policy is in effect.  The new negative balance limits for full pay students is - $19.50 this price reflects the new increase allowing full pay students to charge up to five breakfasts and five lunches. The reduced limit remains at -$3.50. If your child’s account goes over this amount they will have an alternate lunch of that consists of two sides, milk and a sunny butter and jelly sandwich.
